Microblading is a tattooing technique in which a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles is used to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and colour. It deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis, so it fades more rapidly than traditional tattooing techniques, which deposit pigment deeper.
The treatment will usually require two sessions. The first session will include a brow mapping service so that the best size, shape and symmetry for your brows can be determined. This is followed by the application of numbing cream, and then the application of the hair strokes. The second session typically takes place 4-6 weeks later, once brows have fully healed. Any touch-ups or colour top-ups/corrections are performed at this stage.
Microblading typically lasts between 12-18 months but results vary depending on age, skin type, UV exposure and skincare regime.
This is a great treatment for anyone wanting to save time on daily eyebrows pencilling, or for those wishing to create a new brow shape or even a new brow altogether.
Includes initial consultation, first session, 1 top-up session, aftercare advice and take home recovery balm.
